Joyce and Doug Hoskins grew up in Mechanicsburg and have lived in Shiremanstown since 1958. Joyce has been a strong supporter of the local library and has served on its board of trustees for 36 years, helping to guide it through its formative years. Doug is a retired independent insurance broker having spent many years with a large York agency as vice president. Our strong held belief is that democracy cannot long survive without free access to information and that education is the key to personal success and a healthy society. We hope that our endowment fund will help the Simpson Library fill this need.
