As life-long residents of the Harrisburg area and daily dog-walkers, the Allens have developed an appreciation of local parks. Active in the volunteer community, Mrs. Allen has served as President of the Hemlock Girl Scout Council and Board Chair of Wilson College and Mr. Allen as president of the United Way. Both are ruling elders of Market Square Presbyterian Church and both have served as Trustees. They encourage others to help in preserving our community parks. The Allens created this fund to preserve Camp Hill Borough by providing grants to youth organizations such as Girl Scouts or Boy Scouts or other similar youth organizations for projects to enhance the Camp Hill Borough parks.
