This Fund honors a couple who had a lifelong interest in horticulture and conservation and were involved in numerous political and volunteer activities. Mrs. Margetts, whose Perry County ancestors date into the early 1800s, was raised in Newport. The Margetts regularly returned to their Sharon Orchards farm and Perry County, an area they loved.
