The Foundation for Enhancing Communities, a public foundation, is incorporated under Pennsylvania law as a 501(c)(3) nonprofit organization. Contributions to The Foundation are deductible to the fullest extent allowed by the Internal Revenue Code. Click here to view The Foundation chart. The Foundation's volunteer Board of Directors serves as the governing body, guided by The Foundation's bylaws. The volunteer Board of Directors reflects the diverse nature of the communities that we serve, and directors bring multiple viewpoints to the table for the Board's deliberation. The Board retains fiduciary control of The Foundation's assets. Reporting to the Board of Directors are various standing committees. These committees are composed of more than 100 volunteers, and they make policy recommendations to the Board regarding various aspects of The Foundation.
