| Janice R. Black, President/CEO Ms. Black joined The Foundation in September of 1994. Prior to joining The Foundation, Ms. Black worked as Executive Director of Edgewater Psychiatric Center. Ms. Black holds a Bachelor of Science Degree in Nursing from George Mason University. Ms. Black has served on many boards within the community including the American Cancer Society, Leadership Harrisburg, Goodwill Industries, Rotary Club of Harrisburg and Delta Dental of PA. Additionally, she served as District Governor of Rotary District 7390 in 2006-2007. When Ms. Black arrived at The Foundation, the assets totaled approximately $5 million. At the end of 2007, The Foundation assets were approximately $67 million. | |  | Rosemary Browne, Director of Programs and Community Investment Ms. Browne joined The Foundation in January of 2002, having previously held the position of Director of Grants Management for the Dauphin County Board of Commissioners. Ms. Browne holds a Bachelor of Arts Degree in Sociology & Urban Planning from Saint Francis College. Ms. Browne has served on many nonprofit and collaborative boards in the region and is The Foundation's representative on a number of community partnerships. She has oversight responsibilities for The Foundation's discretionary grant making program, the Community Investment Initiative, scholarships, DonorEdge® and special projects. |
|  | Ginny Bush, Executive Assistant Ms. Bush joined The Foundation in November of 2001. Prior to joining The Foundation, Ms. Bush worked as the Administrative Assistant to the Director of Edgewater Psychiatric Center. Ms. Bush is responsible for providing direct support to the President & CEO and Board of Directors of The Foundation. |
|  | Kirk C. Demyan, Chief Financial Officer Mr. Demyan joined The Foundation in May of 2001. Prior to joining The Foundation, Mr. Demyan worked as the Director of Finance for Northwestern Human Services, Inc. Mr. Demyan holds a Bachelor's and Master's Degree in Business Administration & Finance from Moravian College. Mr. Demyan has spent his entire professional career serving the community by working for non-profit organizations. Mr. Demyan is responsible for The Foundation's finances, investments, human resources and technology. | | Jennifer Doyle, Program Officer Ms. Doyle joined The Foundation as Program Officer in August of 2008. Prior to joining The Foundation, Ms. Doyle served as the Director of Workforce Development for Goodwill Industries Keystone Area, and as the Director of Mental Retardation Services for Northwestern Human Services. Ms. Doyle holds a Bachelor’s Degree in Psychology and Biology from the University of Pittsburgh, and a Master’s Degree in Health Administration from the Pennsylvania State University. Ms. Doyle has worked collaboratively with many community nonprofit agencies. As Program Officer, her duties include providing technical assistance and capacity building support to grant seeking nonprofit organizations, coordination of health initiative grant funded projects, and outcomes and evaluation monitoring for grant recipient organizations. | | | Jim Martin, Financial Services Associate Mr. Martin joined The Foundation in September of 2007. Prior to joining The Foundation, Mr. Martin served as a Senior Payroll and Lease Accountant with Foot Locker, Inc., and as a Financial Analyst with National Claims Administrative Services of PA. Mr. Martin's duties include account reconciliations, bank reconciliations and serving as liason with our backroom service agreements . |
| | Dr. Steve Messner, Capital Beginnings Project Director Steve Messner joined The Foundation in January of 2006. Prior to joining The Foundation, Steve was a school superintendent for twenty years in city, suburban and rural schools. Steve served the Harrisburg Region president and CEO of the America's Promise Tri- County Alliance for a period of six years. Steve is a member of the Harrisburg Mayor's Literacy Commission. Since joining The Foundation, Steve has utilized his SAFE school community model to address the school readiness needs of young children. Steve has served on the faculty of Leadership Harrisburg. Steve was recently identified as one of twenty Leadership Harrisburg graduates who have excelled in their chosen professions as well as in their volunteer service to this community. He is also the Chairman of the Harrisburg Mayor's Literacy Commission. | |
|  | Stacey Romberger, Financial Services Associate Ms. Romberger joined the Foundation in June of 2010. Prior to working at The Foundation, Ms. Romberger worked various accounting positions for the Commonwealth of Pennsylvania, Rite Aid Corporation, HealthAmerica and Highmark. Ms. Romberger obtained her Bachelor of Science degree in Accounting from Albright College as well as her Masters degree in Accounting and Financial Management from Keller Graduate School. Ms. Romberger's duties will include gift entry, accounts payable, pledge management as well as liason with various management agreement accounts. | | Consultants Margaret B.
