Major changes have come to the Capital Campaign Review Board (CCRB) with the advent of a new partnership. The CCRB is working closely with the Central Penn Business Journal (CPBJ) to use their sophisticated technology to make the submission of capital campaign information easier than ever before.
Since the CCRB was established in 1986, nonprofit organizations have completed a lengthy paper application form. Now, thanks to David Shankweiler and the wonderful staff at CPBJ, all submissions can be completed electronically. (Just think of the trees we are saving!)
Please click here for the link to the survey form.If you complete part of the survey and need to wait some time to complete the remainder, please email Alaine Keisling at
alainek@cpbj.com. Alaine will send you a link so that you can go back to the form and complete it without losing any data.
The Capital Campaign Review Board was formed in 1986 to increase the chances for success for all capital campaigns in the tri-county region. This is accomplished through the board's prescreening process of campaign requests. (The Foundation for Enhancing Communities is pleased to administer the CCRB process annually.)
The CCRB was ably chaired first by William H. Alexander and then by Miles J. Gibbons, Jr. from 1992 through 2012 and thrived under their leadership. The current committee, chaired by William Lehr, Jr., is comprised of volunteers representing corporations, the nonprofit sector, and community representatives. The Board annually surveys charitable organizations in order to gauge the amount of capital campaign contributions the region can reasonably expect from foundations and corporations.
If your organization is planning a capital campaign, or is in the midst of a capital campaign, please consider completing the form so that your information can be shared with funders across Dauphin, Cumberland, and Perry Counties. The information you submit will be published in the August 8, 2014 issue of the Central Penn Business Journal.
The submission deadline is Thursday, July 31, 2014.
