Tommy Sgrignoli Scholarship Fund

The Tommy Sgrignoli Scholarship Fund awards a scholarship for graduating seniors of East Pennsboro High School to help further their education. The scholarship memorializes Tommy Sgrignoli, a 1999 graduate of East Pennsboro High School, who was tragically killed in a motorcycle accident on June 22, 2005. Through this scholarship, the life and story of Tommy will never be forgotten. To have known Tommy was truly a blessing. 

Please see your school counselor to pick up the application. Applications must also be turned into the school counselor upon completion.

Criteria

  1. Graduating Senior of East Pennsboro High School with plans to attend a school of higher education 
  2. Leadership and Community Service 
  3. Extracurricular activities 
  4. Active in Sports and Outdoor activities 
  5. Financial need 
  6. Essay
  7. Supplemental documents. This may include a resume, letter(s) of recommendation, transcript, FAFSA Student Aid Report (SAR), or other scholarship-specific documents. Specific requirements are noted in the application.

Essay

Describe in 400 words or less, why you feel you would be most qualified for this scholarship. Tommy had excelled in sports, was a wonderful role model for the youth, and had gained the respect of his family, friends and community through his achievements, giving heart, and his endearing smile that he always had for everyone. 

Renewability

This scholarship is a one-time only award.
