The Shree Krishna Foundation or "SKF" was established in 2005 by Hersha H. and Hasu P. Shah. One of the fund's primary goals is to facilitate the sponsorship of one million cataract surgeries for needy individuals in India and around the World. As of 12/31/2019, over 200,000 successful surgeries have been completed towards this goal. SKF also widely supports the Boys & Girls Club of Harrisburg and the International Service Center ("ISC"). The Shah's believe in ISC's Refugee Program, having themselves moved to the U.S. 56 years ago.
