Our organization is dedicated to providing a safe environment for people of the LGBT and Straight Ally community to celebrate their diversity while supporting local economic growth by partnering with the community and attracting individuals to Central Pennsylvania.

    Nonprofit and for profit vendor booths are typically 10'x10' while food vendor booths are 10'x20', although additional spaces are available for purchase on a first-come, first-served basis.

  • All vendors are allotted 2 wristbands. If extra wristbands are needed, please order them now to receive the discounted price.

    Wristbands purchased the day of the festival will be $8.00 each. All wristbands will be distributed upon entrance to the festival.

  • Vendors Agree to the Following Rules and are Responsible to Inform Participants and or Employees of the Rules.

  • Inclusion

    Pride Festival of Central PA welcomes the participation of all people regardless of age, creed, gender, gender identity, HIV status, national origin, physical or mental development ability, race, religion or sexual orientation and asks all participating organizations to also engage in non-discriminatory actions. Participants are to show respect for all genders, ages, races, cultures, faiths and sexual orientations and are to be aware that children will be in attendance at the festival. Participants are asked to demonstrate good taste throughout the event.
  • Dress Code and Messaging

    Nudity at a public event is against PA law and will not be allowed. All vendors must be compliant with PA obscenity laws. As the organizing committee, we reserve the right to remove anyone from the festival that is not conforming to our reasonable restrictions in their manner of dress. We further reserve the right to prohibit the display of any signs, articles or products that, in our sole opinion, are not in keeping with the desired image, nature and character of the festival. We have the legal right to control the message of our event and to exclude individuals expressing a contrasting or contradictory message.
  • Festival Setup/Breakdown

    Festival setup begins at 6:00 AM on Saturday and ends at 10:00 AM. All vendors MUST enter through the South Gate on Vine Street and be checked in by 10:00 AM. No vehicles will be permitted through the gates after 9:30 AM and all vehicles must be removed from the festival grounds by 10:00 AM. Between 10:00 – 10:30 AM, vendors may walk in additional products, but vendor registration will completely end by 10:30 AM on Saturday. Late arrivals will not be permitted to enter with vehicles; all items must be carried to your space.

    Note: If a vendor would like to setup Friday afternoon, please make a note of it in the Additional Comments field at the end of the application. The Vendor Committee Chairperson will contact you to confirm approval of early setup and assign you a time to arrive.

    Vendors are responsible for the setup, clean up and breakdown of their own area in a timely and orderly manner. Vendors must cooperate with each other and respect the integrity of River Front Park while transporting and removing their wares and equipment. All vendors are responsible to clean up any trash or refuse in the immediate vicinity or their vendor location or associated with their vendor activities. Any vendor not in compliance will be subject to the additional clean up fee of $50.

    Additionally, vendors who remove and/or damage Pride Festival property (including fencing) without the approval of the Pride Board will be assessed a $100 damage fee.
  • Electricity

    Electricity will be provided to ONLY those vendors who requested it with their vendor application. Electrical connections will be setup on Friday before the festival and vendors are required to be present at that time. Each vendor is responsible for providing its own cords and hook-ups. It is vital that we know all equipment being used so that we can ensure that a proper connection is made available to you.

    An electrician is not available the day of the festival.
  • Food Vendors

    Food vendors are required to provide a copy of their Special Events Health License for the City of Harrisburg. Please follow the link on our website to acquire the license. Any applications received without this license will be rejected. All food vendors must comply with all health regulations including being fully clothed at all times. Any vendor not complying with these items will forfeit vendor fees and will be asked to leave the festival.

  • Vendor Cancellation Policy

    Vendor cancellations are considered on a case-by-case basis. No fees or charges will be refunded to vendors who fail to arrive prior to the festival setup deadline as stated within the Vendor FAQs or do not appear at the Festival at all (no shows).
  • Festival Cancellation/Early Closure Policy

    The Pride Festival of Central PA reserves the right to cancel an event due to low enrollment or other circumstances which would make the event non-viable. If Pride Festival of Central PA cancels an event, registrants will be offered a full refund. Should circumstances arise that result in the postponement of an event, registrants will have the option to either receive a full refund or transfer registration to the same event at the new or future date. No refunds will be made available in the case of an early closure of the event due to inclement weather and/or emergency.
  • Protestors & Good Conduct Policy

    Events like this tend to draw protesters, please refrain from any interaction with all protesters during and after the event.

    As it is impossible to anticipate every situation that may arise, any conduct that violates statute of the state of Pennsylvania or the city of Harrisburg will not be tolerated. Any company, organization or individual violating these statues will not be allowed to participate in the Pride Festival.
  • I understand and agree to abide by the rules and regulations as outlined in this document and understand that the Board reserves the right to deny event entry and or eject any individuals or groups (vendors, patrons or parade participants, etc.) who do not adhere to this policy.
  • Waiver of Liability

  • The agreement to rent a booth space is made upon the express condition that the City of Harrisburg, The Pride Festival of Central Pennsylvania, and their board of directors and volunteers, hereinafter referred to as the Lessor, shall be free from all liabilities and claims for damages and/or suits for or by reason of any injury or injuries to any person or persons or property of any kind whatsoever, whether the person or property of Lessee, Its agents or employees, or third persons, from any cause or causes whatsoever while in or upon said premises or any part thereof during the term of this agreement or occasioned by any occupancy or use of said premises or any activity carried on by lessee in connection therewith. The Lessee hereby covenants and agrees to indemnify and save harmless the Lessor from all liabilities, charges, expenses (including counsel fees) and costs on account of or by reason of any such injuries, liabilities, claims, suits, or losses however occurring or damages growing out of same. The Lessee warrants and guarantees that Lessee is property insured for all time periods and places covered by this agreement. The Lessee agrees to assume all risks of loss, injury or damage of any kind or nature whatsoever to any building or other structure belonging to said Lessee, which may be now or hereafter placed upon all leased premises, and all risks of loss, injury, or damage of any kind or nature whatsoever to the contents of any building or structures, or to any goods, merchandise, chattels, or any other property now or that may hereafter be upon said leased premises, whether belonging to the Lessee or others, and whether such loss, injury from, fire, or other agency, and whether the same be caused by the negligence of the Lessor, or any of its volunteers or agents, or otherwise, and to save and keep harmless the Lessor from all claims and suits growing out of such loss, injury, or damage.
