Faerie L. Angle Memorial Scholarship Fund

Faerie L. Angle was the widow of Roy S.F. Angle, Attorney-at-Law.  Her Last Will and Testament provided for the creation of a Law School Educational Trust Fund, which provides scholarships for young persons from Franklin County, Pennsylvania, studying to be lawyers.

Criteria

  1. Resident of, or has a material connection to, Franklin County  
  2. Accepted to a three-year J.D. Program with the intent to become a lawyer. 
  3. Awards will be made to students entering the first, second, and third year of their J.D. Program.
  4. Additional consideration given to students attending PA Law schools but students going to out of state Law school will also be considered.  
  5. Graduated from an undergraduate program with a minimum GPA of 3.5 (in the case of students entering their first year of law school). All other students must have a minimum GPA of 3.0.  
  6. Financial need 
  7. Essay\Supplemental documents. This may include a resume, letter(s) of recommendation, transcript, FAFSA Student Aid Report (SAR), or other scholarship-specific documents. Specific requirements are noted in the application.

Essay

Describe your ideas, goals, interests, experiences, problems, and future plans as it relates to your intent to study law. 

Renewability

This scholarship will automatically renew for up to three years provided the recipient maintains a minimum cumulative GPA of 3.0. Students must submit a transcript and tuition bill each semester in order for the scholarship to be renewed.
