Many students have the qualifications and a genuine ambition to further their education, but don’t have the means. We believe that accessible education is crucial to the development of a better community.

It is through the generosity of local individuals, families, and businesses that we are able to offer more than 190 scholarship opportunities. TFEC is the largest provider of scholarships in South Central, Pennsylvania, awarding over $1.7 million in scholarships to more than 400 local students alone through various scholarship funds administered by TFEC and through management agreements with the Samuel L. Abrams Foundation, the Leon Lowengard and Ray S. Shoemaker scholarships of BNY Mellon, N.A. and York Rotary Club.
Whether honoring loved ones or providing for specific communities, each scholarship expresses a deep belief in the power of education to help today’s youth achieve their dreams.
