This fund supports students attending Franklin & Marshall College, Shippensburg University, or Harrisburg Academy, and Eagle Scouts nominated by the New Birth of Freedom Council, Boy Scouts of America.
Students who are legal dependents of full-time employees of the Beistle Company; second preference may be given to students graduating from Shippensburg High School; third preference may be given to students graduating from high schools within a 30 mile radius of Shippensburg.
Established in 1988 by Janet B. and Melvin J. Brownold and in memory of Janet’s parents, this fund supports an educational travel scholarship for students at Harrisburg Area Community College.
