Professional Advisor Breakfast
Start your day with a breakfast built for professional advisors and designed to help you offer more to your clients. You will learn how The Foundation for Enhancing Communities (TFEC) and the Franklin County Community Foundation (FCCF) can support charitable planning that is flexible, local and built for lasting impact in Franklin County.
With the support of the Franklin County Area Development Corporation (FCADC), this free breakfast will bring together professional advisors from around the area. The program will begin with opening remarks from Mike Ross of FCADC. Kim Alvarez and Erin Gilbert of TFEC will then share how TFEC works with professional advisors to support charitable planning and expand options for clients. Attendees will also learn how FCCF supports local giving and long-term community impact.

Human Trafficking Awareness Webinar | Part Two
Let’s Keep the Conversation Going …
Back by popular demand, Unstoppable You Ministries, Inc. and TFEC’s Fund for Women & Girls are hosting a second virtual conversation focused on moving beyond awareness and toward meaningful prevention of human trafficking. This webinar dives deeper into topics that bring together survivors, advocates, community partners and more. Participants who attended the first webinar will find new ground to cover and first-time participants will jump right into a rich conversation. A new panelist joins our established group of experts to add new facets to the conversation.
This event is made possible by the support of WellSpan Health and Highmark Wholecare, whose commitment to community health and safety advances prevention-focused education and collaboration across our region.

This event is part of TFEC’s ongoing commitment, through the Fund for Women & Girls, to address issues affecting women and girls and to strengthen community responses across South Central PA. You did not have to attend the first webinar to attend this one. This seminar is a fresh conversation that brings in new ideas.

Our Panelists
DeFord Davis
DeFord Davis has been a volunteer with She’s Somebody’s Daughter for over 8 years. Her main roles are Volunteer Coordinator and Awareness Team volunteer. With a background in psychology, she initially learned about trafficking in 2010 and spent many years selling products made by trafficking survivors and at-risk women. Following many survivor-led organizations, she learned about issues involved in human trafficking and began to teach youth at her local high school about trafficking in health class. As a teen who experienced challenging teen years and as a mother, DeFord understands the psychological and social challenges faced by today’s youth in navigating isolation and the online world. Her passion is in seeing everyone live the life they were intended to live to the fullest! She’s Somebody’s Daughter works to fulfill that mission by coming alongside the women we serve. Helping the public understand the realities of trafficking and traffickers’ and predators’ tactics, DeFord hopes to make a difference in disrupting this heinous crime.
Zozan Küçükaydın
Zozan Küçükaydın is the Anti-Human Trafficking Services Coordinator with the Pennsylvania Coalition to Advance Respect, a division of Respect Together, where she works to support local, state-wide, and regional partners in the anti- trafficking field through survivor-centered and trauma-informed training, technical assistance, and resource sharing. Prior to her role, Zozan provided counseling and case management to survivors of human trafficking at a Pennsylvania domestic violence and sexual assault center. Zozan is a graduate of Penn State University with a Bachelor of Science in Sociology and a Psychology minor.
Justice Maddox
Justice C. Maddox graduated with a degree in Human Services from Harrisburg Area Community College, and she is working on her Bachelor of Science degree as a Clinical Social Worker. She has completed the Certified Recovery Specialist from Pennsylvania State University. Through both her personal experience, education, and professional experiences as a Human Trafficking Caseworker when she worked at the YWCA, Child Protection Investigator at Peace River, and as a foster parent, Justice has seen firsthand the dehumanizing lifestyle and heartbreaking impact of surviving human trafficking. Witnessing this trauma motivated Justice to find the Justice House of Hope, Inc. Justice” Maddox has dedicated her life to providing others with protection and structure in a nurturing environment through the creation of the Justice House of Hope Incorporation. Justice was a teen parent who survived sexual assault and domestic violence and human trafficking. She links her work, experience, and credentials with her life’s mission to raise awareness, provide safe housing services, and education to help sex and labor trafficking victims.
Elijah Muhammad
Elijah Muhammad is a compelling TEDx speaker, federal trial witness, and a dedicated survivor-advocate who exposes psychological and faith-based control. Drawing profoundly from his own lived experience as a cult survivor.
Trooper Michael Reynolds
Trooper Michael Reynolds serves with the Pennsylvania State Police in the Office of Community Engagement, where he works to strengthen relationships between law enforcement and the communities they serve. The Office of Community Engagement works with legislators and municipal, state and federal agencies to enhance community relations between the public and Law Enforcement.
Cassie Smith
Cassie’s journey of advocacy began with her own experience as a survivor, igniting within her a deep sense of empathy and a fierce determination to help others navigate the challenges of recovery and healing. Recognizing the critical need for support and resources for survivors of human trafficking and sexual exploitation, Cassie embarked on a mission to provide comprehensive assistance and empower survivors to reclaim their lives.
Through her community educational efforts, Cassie emphasizes the importance of prevention and intervention. She equips community members with knowledge and resources to identify potential trafficking situations, intervene effectively, and support survivors in accessing the help they need to rebuild their lives.

Harrisburg Hoopla 2026
Get ready, Harrisburg. Hoopla is back on Saturday, June 6, 2026.
Harrisburg Hoopla is a full day of action where friends, coworkers and neighbors team up to take on physical challenges, puzzle games and activities you will not find anywhere else. Each team selects a local nonprofit to represent, allowing them to win money that will be donated directly back to the community.
It is competition with a cause, filled with energy, laughter and connection. At the end of the day, your fun creates real impact. A portion of proceeds also supports the Emerging Philanthropists Fund at TFEC, which helps new leaders strengthen Central PA.
