Human Trafficking Awareness in 2026
Human trafficking prevention starts with connection.
In recognition of Human Trafficking Prevention Month, Unstoppable You Ministries, Inc. and TFEC’s Fund for Women & Girls is hosting a virtual conversation focused on moving beyond awareness and toward meaningful prevention. This webinar brings together survivors, advocates, law enforcement and community partners from across South Central PA to explore how stronger relationships and community support can reduce vulnerability and help prevent exploitation before it begins.
This event is made possible by the support of WellSpan Health and Highmark Wholecare, whose commitment to community health and safety advances prevention-focused education and collaboration across our region.
What the Conversation Will Focus On
- Listening and checking in on individuals who may be isolated
- Creating safe and supportive spaces within our communities
- Strengthening local networks of care and response
- Building futures where exploitation cannot take root
What Participants Can Expect
- Perspectives from survivors with lived experience
- Insights from advocates and law enforcement professionals
- An overview of local resources and support available through the community foundation and partner organizations

Harrisburg Hoopla 2026
Get ready, Harrisburg. Hoopla is back on Saturday, June 6, 2026.
Harrisburg Hoopla is a full day of action where friends, coworkers and neighbors team up to take on physical challenges, puzzle games and activities you will not find anywhere else. Each team selects a local nonprofit to represent, allowing them to win money that will be donated directly back to the community.
It is competition with a cause, filled with energy, laughter and connection. At the end of the day, your fun creates real impact. A portion of proceeds also supports the Emerging Philanthropists Fund at TFEC, which helps new leaders strengthen Central PA.
Team registration opens in March 2026.
