About Alexis

Alexis Cordier, a graduate of Camp Hill High School, was a compassionate individual whose life was marked by kindness, joy, and a steadfast commitment to justice and equality. Diagnosed with kidney disease at 15, she underwent two transplants, receiving kidneys from her mother Sandi and later from her youngest sister Tarah. Despite her health challenges, Alexis remained a vibrant presence, sharing her warmth with family, friends, and her beloved pug, Lucy Jean. While on dialysis and in need of another transplant, Alexis passed away unexpectedly in September 2021 at the age of 39. Her legacy continues to inspire our mission at Alexis Gives Back!, reflecting her enduring spirit and dedication to enhancing the lives of others.

Together, we can make a lasting difference in the lives of children and families served by Camp Kydnie.
Thank you for considering this opportunity to partner with Alexis Gives Back!

About Camp Kydnie

Having begun in 1992, Camp Kydnie is a program of the Kidney Foundation of Central Pennsylvania that provides a week-long overnight camp for kids at least 6 years of age with kidney disease, their siblings, and friends. The goal of Camp Kydnie is to provide a normal camping experience allowing for health and physical limitations, and with an emphasis on positive self-image, independence and self-assurance. Held at Camp Victory in Millville, PA, the week is full of games, hayrides, arts and crafts, fishing and a variety of other camp experiences.

All proceeds go directly to the Alexis Joelle Cordier Fund, a charitable fund of The Foundation for Enhancing Communities and Alexis Gives Back!, a project of The Foundation for Enhancing Communities, fiscal sponsor.
