Establishing a Fiscal Sponsorship
Turn your ideas and mission into reality
The Foundation for Education and Community (TFEC) appreciates your interest in our Fiscal Sponsorship Program. We sincerely appreciate the role that these initiatives play in empowering and uplifting our communities.
After careful consideration and assessment, we have made the difficult decision to temporarily suspend the acceptance and processing of applications for Fiscal Sponsorship. This decision has not been made lightly; it stems from a desire to ensure that we can devote our resources and attention to the Projects we currently support. By limiting the number of Projects under our Fiscal Sponsorship Program, we aim to enhance the quality of support and guidance we provide, ensuring that each Project receives the highest level of customer service and personalized assistance. Please note that this change affects only our fiscal sponsorship program.
If you are interested in starting an unrestricted fund, donor-advised, committee-advised, restricted or scholarship fund, TFEC can assist you in investing in your charitable interests. You can create a fund that supports a specific need or area of interest, or one that is multipurpose and flexible. Regardless of the option you choose, the fund you create will make an impact on community needs. Funds are established with the donor’s commitment to reach a minimum $10,000 contribution level within five years.
We understand that this change may impact potential applicants, and we encourage you to stay informed. We will be updating this webpage regularly, so please check back often for important announcements about our Fiscal Sponsorship application process.
If you already have an existing fund at TFEC and are interested in exploring the integration of a fiscal sponsorship component, or if you want to explore creating a Fund at TFEC, we would like to invite you to contact our team. Please don’t hesitate to contact us at FiscalSponsorship@tfec.org, where our resolute team is ready to offer the guidance and support needed to help you evaluate this option further.
