TFEC Early Education Summer Scholarship

Applications will open on Wed., April 1.

The TFEC Early Education Summer Scholarship is designed to ensure that children in our service area have access to high-quality summer learning opportunities. This scholarship supports eligible rising Kindergarten through fifth-grade students attending summer education programs in Cumberland, Dauphin, Franklin, Lebanon, Perry Counties, and the Dillsburg area of Northern York County. By investing in summer learning, TFEC strengthens communities, supports school readiness, and helps children continue to grow academically and socially beyond the traditional school year.

By funding this scholarship, TFEC ensures that children return to school better prepared, families are supported, and our communities grow stronger, more resilient, and equitable. This meets a need that has been observed over the last year and TFEC has been asked for consideration of support to fill this vital gap. This scholarship opportunity also builds upon the current work TFEC does to provide access to pre-schools through our early education scholarships. TFEC will continue this committed work of investing in our next generation and walking alongside children in our community as they continue their educational journey.
