Family & Children’s Services of Lebanon County

The Family & Children’s Services of Lebanon County Fund of The Foundation for Enhancing Communities provides financial scholarships for Lebanon County residents pursuing higher education degrees in social sciences and human services. The scholarships are granted to students enrolled in accredited schools of advanced education in the fields of medicine, nursing, social work, mental health, and other specialized therapies in the treatment of physical and mental disabilities. Awards may be for up to four or five years.

Criteria

  1. Resident of Lebanon County 
  2. Financial need 
  3. Academic aptitude and achievement 
  4. Must be enrolled as full-time or part-time students in an accredited undergraduate post-secondary educational institution (awards will not be made for graduate studies) 
  5. Essay
  6. Supplemental documents. This may include a resume, letter(s) of recommendation, transcript, FAFSA Student Aid Report (SAR), or other scholarship-specific documents. Specific requirements are noted in the application.

Renewability

Recipients of this scholarship may apply again. Students must submit a full application but may be prompted to complete a different essay.
