Students who are present or former residents of one of the following Pennsylvania counties: Adams, Bedford, Blair, Centre, Clinton, Cumberland, Dauphin, Franklin, Fulton, Huntingdon, Juniata, Lancaster, Lebanon, Lycoming, Mifflin, Montour, Northumberland, Perry, Snyder, Tioga, Union, or York, and studying in the final three years of a Bachelor of Architecture program OR in a graduate program leading to a Master of Architecture degree.

Scholarship FAQ

Criteria

  1. Students who are present/former residents of the following counties: Adams, Bedford, Blair, Centre, Clinton, Cumberland, Dauphin, Franklin, Fulton, Huntingdon, Juniata, Lancaster, Lebanon, Lycoming, Mifflin, Montour, Northumberland, Perry, Snyder, Tioga, Union, or York. 
  2. Students studying in the final three years of a Bachelor of Architecture program or in a graduate program leading to a Master of Architecture degree 
  3. Financial Need 
  4. Supplemental documents. This may include a resume, letter(s) of recommendation, transcript, FAFSA Student Aid Report (SAR), or other scholarship-specific documents. Specific requirements are noted in the application.

Renewability

Recipients of this scholarship may apply again for each consecutive year. Students must submit a full application but may be prompted to complete a different essay.

Other

You must complete the qualification process by no later than February 15. If you are eligible to apply, you will receive notification along with requirements and instructions on how to submit a full application. Full applications will be due no later than July 30. 

If you are determined eligible to apply you will be asked to complete a full application and to assemble a portfolio, letters of reference, and other materials.  A complete description of application requirements will be emailed to you upon that determination. Qualified students will be reimbursed for the out-of-pocket costs of portfolio preparation up to $100 whether or not they are ultimately scholarship recipients. Receipts for these reimbursable expenses will be required.
