Matt was named Vice President – Marketing & Communications at The Foundation for Enhancing Communities (TFEC) in January 2025. He brings more than 20 years of strategic marketing and communications expertise to his role, having guided organizations through crisis response, website redesigns and digital engagement initiatives.
Before joining TFEC, Matt served as an Account Director at Martin Communications, where he led multifaceted campaigns that addressed complex communication challenges. He also managed the early development of a digital advertising platform for MANSI Media and trained teams at Advance Local and the Pennsylvania NewsMedia Foundation, ensuring that evolving marketing trends were accessible and actionable.
Matt’s dedication to the community shines through his volunteer service. He has chaired the Programming and Events Committee for the Central PA Chapter of the American Marketing Association since its inception in 2022, driving the growth of the local marketing industry through education, networking and community service. His role in the Central PA chapter led to his election as President in 2025, a role he continues in today. He has also pursued his passion for gaming by founding the Harrisburg Board Game Alliance, fostering connections and collaboration around tables throughout central Pennsylvania.
In his role at TFEC, Matt is committed to strengthening the organization’s impact by building inclusive relationships, championing effective storytelling, and inspiring collective action to support thriving communities.
