Funds from the UpStream grant will support staff time, benefits and program costs so that Common Roads, a program for LGBTQ+ youth and young adults, can continue to thrive and grow. Funds from the University Center at Harrisburg grant will be used to provide financial assistance to LGBTQ+ youth and young adults for GED preparation, ESL classes, computer skills classes and other classes relevant to workforce development.

Our mission is to foster inclusive communities and holistic well-being for LGBTQ+ people through social, educational, and cultural engagement.

With support from the UpStream grant, the LGBT Center will continue providing affirming spaces for LGBTQ+ youth, helping them to find community, connection, and support to become resilient and thriving adults.

With support from the University Center at Harrisburg grant, the LGBT Center will be able to fill critical gaps in education and skills training, empowering LGBTQ+ youth and young adults and moving them toward economic self-sufficiency and community integration.
