With generous funding from The Foundation for Enhancing Communities (TFEC), we purchased a new collection of leveled readers designed to support young readers at every stage of their learning journey. These carefully selected books help build confidence, strengthen literacy skills, and foster a lifelong love of reading by offering engaging stories matched to each child’s reading level.
How does this support assist you in advancing your mission?
The library’s mission is to create a safe and inclusive environment that supports literacy and lifelong learning. The library board and staff respond to the evolving needs of the community. We saw a need for our young readers and the support from TFEC helped us meet that need. Their support allows us to better serve our community, provide equitable educational opportunities and inspire a lifelong love of reading and discovery in every patron who walks through our doors.
