The Franklin County Community Foundation (FCCF), established in 1987, is a regional foundation of The Foundation for Enhancing Communities. FCCF makes discretionary grants to nonprofit organizations in Franklin County. FCCF also serves as a vehicle for individuals, companies, foundations, and charitable organizations to establish funds that will support the civic, social, educational, and cultural well-being of individuals living in Franklin County. FCCF ensures that all gifts, ranging from a few dollars to a few thousand dollars, will work to improve the quality of life for Franklin County residents, today and in the future.

Grants
FCCF conducts an annual competitive grantmaking program for nonprofit organizations serving Franklin county. FCCF’s strategic grantmaking focus is to invest in innovative, collaborative approaches and solutions to community problems, and to support projects that demonstrate achievable outcomes, the potential for replication as a model program, and plans for sustainability beyond the grant term. The overarching goal is to fund programs and services that have the potential for the greatest impact on the quality of life and positive outcomes for individuals and families living in Franklin county.

Cumberland Valley Breast Care Alliance Cumberland Valley Breast Care Alliance (CVBCA) is committed to providing lymphatic massage therapy, a helpful treatment for lymphedema, to uninsured or underinsured breast cancer patients in Franklin County. |

Diaper Depot Central Diaper Depot at Central assists local families who have difficulty affording the costly, but necessary, item of disposable diapers. This grant will support families so that each family may register up to three children and receive 50 diapers or 15 training pants per child. |

Fannett-Metal Volunteer Fire and Ambulance Company Fannett-Metal Volunteer Fire & Ambulance Company will use the grant to purchase equipment that will elevate the service the company provides to the citizens, travelers, and property of Path Valley. |

Franklin County Historical Society – Kittochtinny This grant will bring history to life by funding a self-guided audio tour system and hosting novelist/guest speaker Jeff Shaara. |

Franklin County Legal Services This grant supports “Meeting Basic Needs Through Legal Services,” a project protecting housing, family, livelihood, and other human needs by providing legal services to low-income residents of Franklin County faced with civil legal issues. |

Friends of Fannett-Metal Athletics Friends of Fannett-Metal Athletics will use the grant for the Concession stand rehab project to benefit Fannett-Metal Junior high Athletic programs. |
