Chambersburg Fannett-Metal School District

The Chambersburg/Fannett-Metal School District Scholarship Fund is an endowment fund of the Franklin County Community Foundation, a regional foundation of The Foundation for Enhancing Communities. This scholarship is offered to students graduating from Chambersburg Area High School and Fannett-Metal High School who plan to pursue college degrees in either computer engineering or computer science. This scholarship is a fund of the Franklin County Community Foundation, a regional foundation of TFEC.

Scholarship FAQs

Criteria

  1. Graduating senior at either Chambersburg Area School District or Fannett-Metal School District 
  2. Desire to pursue a college degree in computer engineering or computer science 
  3. Academic achievement, including a minimum cumulative GPA of 2.0 or higher on a 4.0 scale 
  4. Extracurricular activities (clubs, sports, organizations, etc.) 
  5. Services to the community (volunteer work) 
  6. Financial need 
  7. Essay
  8. Supplemental documents. This may include a resume, letter(s) of recommendation, transcript, FAFSA Student Aid Report (SAR), or other scholarship-specific documents. Specific requirements are noted in the application.
