April 1 Scholarship Deadline Extended

TFEC is extending the application deadline for all scholarship funds with an April 1 deadline to April 7.

At this time, students can successfully submit an application online by attaching all materials they prepare themselves (Student Resume, Other Scholarship Information, FAFSA Student Aid Report, Essay).

Applications have been updated so that students are no longer required to have letters of reference uploaded to their application through our portal. Instead, teachers and school counselors are to email all letters of reference and transcripts to scholarshipapplications@tfec.org. Your application will not be negatively affected if there is a delay in your teachers’ or school counselors’ ability to email these materials.

Please know that the instructional language on the applications themselves has not changed. Any materials that were to be submitted using the Recommenders Tab should now be emailed, even if the instructions say otherwise.

Students who have started an application before March 18 may experience difficulty submitting their application. If you are unable to submit your application because it is missing letters of reference, please start a new application. We apologize for any inconvenience.
