A brighter future for the next generation of community leaders
Many students have the qualifications and a genuine ambition to further their education, but don’t have the means. We believe that accessible education is crucial to the development of a better community.
It is through the generosity of local individuals, families, and businesses that we are able to offer more than 120 scholarship opportunities. In 2020, TFEC offered more than 120 scholarship opportunities and awarded over $1.3 million in scholarships to 403 local students alone through various scholarship funds administered by TFEC and through management agreements with the Samuel L. Abrams Foundation and the Leon Lowengard and Ray S. Shoemaker scholarships of BNY Mellon, N.A.
Whether honoring loved ones or providing for specific communities, each scholarship expresses a deep belief in the power of education to help today’s youth achieve their dreams.

Zachary Moore Music Memorial Fund
