Eash-Potter Scholarship

The Eash-Potter Scholarship Fund is named after Melinda Eash and Sharon Potter, to honor their legacy in developing support for lesbian, gay, bisexual, transgender, and questioning (LGBTQ) youth in central Pennsylvania through Common Roads, the youth group of the LGBT Center of Central PA. The scholarship will support students committed to improving the campus and community climate for LGBTQ+ people.

Criteria

  1. Graduating high school seniors from Adams, Cumberland, Dauphin, Franklin, Lancaster, Lebanon, Perry and York counties 
  2. Participation in some sort of activity/activities to improve the school/community climate for LGBTQ+ people 
  3. Applicants who are students of color, transgender, or children of LGBTQ+ parents are especially encouraged to apply 
  4. Financial need 
  5. Essay
  6. Supplemental documents. This may include a resume, letter(s) of recommendation, transcript, FAFSA Student Aid Report (SAR), or other scholarship-specific documents. Specific requirements are noted in the application.
