Erin L. Jenkins Memorial Scholarship

The Erin L. Jenkins Memorial Scholarship awards scholarships to students attending Cumberland Valley High School.  The award memorializes Erin L. Jenkins, the daughter of Bruce and Kitty Jenkins, a Cumberland Valley student who died from injuries she received in an auto accident in 1999. Erin was a joyful child who always had a smile on her face. She loved horses, field hockey, family, and friends. After her death, her young classmates lobbied to get a traffic light installed at the dangerous intersection where her accident occurred. Inspired by this success, Bruce and Kitty Jenkins established this scholarship to support Cumberland Valley students whose unselfish actions have benefited the community.
