Yamit Friedman

Yamit joined TFEC in May of 2021 as the Community Investment Associate. She previously worked for several years as a first grade teacher at a school in New York City and since relocating to PA has worked at public schools throughout the Central PA region as well as administered educational grants for Team Pennsylvania, a public-private partnership. Yamit is very involved in the local Harrisburg Jewish community, including having served on the board of the local Jewish school and at Kesher Israel Congregation. She earned a Bachelor of Arts degree at Barnard College and a Master of Public Administration degree at Penn State.
