Together We Take Action

The Foundation for Enhancing Communities’ Together We Take Action grant catalog provides a connection between TFEC, local nonprofit organizations, and donors so we can take action – together!

Each participating nonprofit has been fully vetted and reviewed by an independent committee and received partial funding for their grant request. TFEC is unable to fully fund these nonprofits and that is where you come in!

Donate to assist these organizations in reaching full funding for their projects to support their mission. Click to view our Together We Take Action catalog and read about each participating nonprofit’s request and how much was funded. Then select the nonprofit you would like to donate to by clicking donate under their information.

Your gift will enable us to further assistance to local nonprofits.

Alone, we have ideas. Together, we take action.

FAQ

Why are we implementing this feature for nonprofits within the community?

TFEC can leverage funds from Fundholders and the general community to help make an impact through supporting needed programs that are providing support & services for our neighbors.

Who will be included?

Nonprofit organizations that apply for any competitive grant opportunity through TFEC that receive partial funding by the respective volunteer grantmaking committee and have opted to be a part of the grant impact catalog, will be included.

Why are only nonprofit organizations that have been partially funded through a grantmaking opportunity invited to be a part of the grant impact catalog?

By including nonprofit organizations that have been vetted through the grantmaking process by a committee of peers who have reviewed the nonprofit organization’s need, program and budget and have determined their eligibility to receive funding a larger impact can be achieved.

How will nonprofit organizations be made aware of their opportunity to be included in the grant impact catalog?

Nonprofit organizations are informed of the opportunity to be included in the grant impact catalog within the grant application. If they choose to participate if partially funded; they are asked specific questions that will provide the needed information for the grant impact catalog.
