The Fund For Women & Girls

The Power of Collective Philanthropy
We have made remarkable progress toward our $1 million permanent endowment. With only $250,000 remaining, we stand on the brink of a monumental achievement: becoming One Million Strong. The enduring power of an endowment is genuinely inspiring.
Community Impact
In the past 25 years, the Fund for Women and Girls has raised awareness and addressed issues affecting women and girls. Since 2008, over $576,000 in grants have supported local nonprofits, impacting the community through:
- Eradicating diaper need and period poverty
- Providing primary health care to uninsured women with low income
- Ending homelessness for single mothers and children
- Empowering programs that address the evolving needs of girls’ health
- Offering free mammograms to uninsured women

Purpose & Connection
Founded in 2000, the Fund for Women and Girls set a powerful foundation of support for local nonprofit organizations dedicated to uplifting women and girls in South Central PA’s Cumberland, Dauphin, Franklin, Lebanon, Perry and Dillsburg regions. In 2008, the Fund for Women and Girls awarded its first grants, and three years later, The Dream Team emerged, inspiring individuals to contribute a minimum of $1,000 to build a lasting $1 million endowment.
Becoming a member of the Dream Team provides hope and creates change for women & girls in our community forever. Memberships are customizable at any level for up to 5 years.
